Amazon ship for free - Why don't you?
We would love to be able to send everything out for free for you. Unfortunately, as a family-run business we don’t process orders on such a huge scale as Amazon do. They can afford to take a loss on processing and shipping smaller items as they know they will make it back on the higher value items.
As a family business, we have two options. We can either increase prices to the extent that we don’t have to worry about shipping costs, or we keep individual item costs as low as possible, but then include a separate delivery cost. This seems the fairer way to go.
If you aren’t in a desperate rush for a next day delivery, then we are able to keep our shipping costs as low as possible for you. Higher value orders are sent out to you for free, low value orders are only £1.50, and those inbetween are only £2.99.
What you get from ordering from us is a quality family-run service. There is a friendly voice available whenever you need us and we will always do our utmost to assist you wherever we can.
Standard items should normally be expected to be received in 2-5 working days.
Please note that items that you have asked us to print for you are subject to an additional ‘Printing Delay’ of up to 5 working days on top of the standard delivery timescale. Please therefore allow up to 10 working days for items to be printed and delivered.
All of your items will be sent in one delivery. Sorry, but we would have to increase our costs to send items out separately, so everything is always sent together.
If there are any known issues that may cause delays with your delivery (such as national holidays etc.), these will be detailed in the blue bar at the top of our home page. A full list of closure dates can be seen here.
Please note that these delivery timescales are advisory only and public holidays and bad weather may affect delivery times. While we will always try and keep to them wherever possible, we cannot guarantee them.
Can I add to an existing order?
If we haven’t finished processing your initial order then you are welcome to add to it if we haven’t yet printed a shipping label. Please note that additions to your order may cause a delay. If you add to your order, please be aware that that may rest your 2-5 working day expected delivery timescale. Please email us if you would like to add to your order.
If we have already completed the processing of your order, and paid for the shipping of that order, unfortunately we will not be able to add to and you would need to submit a new order for any additional items.
Who does the deliveries?
Deliveries will normally be dispatched using either a Royal Mail or a courier service, depending on the size and weight of your delivery. We are happy to deliver to your work address if you prefer. If we send your delivery using Royal Mail, we will be unable to allocate a safe place to leave your delivery. You can however set up a permanent safe place with them in advance. Please just contact Royal Mail to do so. We are sorry, but we are unable to guarantee that any ‘safe places’ entered onto your order comments will be used.
We are very careful in our approach and handling of all of the items that we make and sell with respect to Covid-19. As a family-run business we are thankfully able to operate at near normal conditions, just with extra precautions to ensure that everyone, including you, remain completely safe.
How do I track my order?
To track your order, click on the ‘My account’ button, then select ‘Orders’. From here you can check the status of any of your orders.
If you think that your order may should have arrived and has not, please just get in touch with us and we will see what we can to trace it for you.
What packaging will my order come in? Will it be sustainable?
We take our impact on the environment very seriously. Where possible we always endeavour to use recycled and recyclable materials, both in manufacture and shipping.
On the very rare occassions that we use non-recycled/recyclable materials in our shipping, it is only because we have received them in a delivery ourselves and we think it is better to reuse them, rather than just put them straight into landfill.
