Opening Hours and Closure Dates
To keep our prices as low as possible for you we are an internet-only store. As such we do not have a shop that you are able to visit or collect from.
Email is our preferred contact method. We do respond to emails as quickly as we can, even outside our regular telephone hours and at weekends, so please feel free to email us at any time: hello@diy-invites.co.uk.
Telephone hours. We are happy to answer phone enquiries during our opening hours. These are Monday-Friday, 9am until 5pm (excluding the closure dates below). If we are unable to answer, please just drop us a quick email message and we will be happy to contact you back as soon as we can.
Closure Dates - 2019
Please note that we will be closed and unable to process/dispatch orders on the following dates.
19 – 22 April 2019 – National bank holidays – Easter
6 May 2019 – National bank holiday
27 May 2019 – National bank holiday
14 – 23 August 2019 – Summer closure
26 August 2019 – National bank holiday
20 December 2019 – 6 January 2020 – Christmas closure
How will the closure dates affect my delivery time?
While we are happy to respond to email queries during closure days, we will not be processing or dispatching orders on these dates. Any published closure day should therefore not be counted as a working day.
If placing an order on a day when we are closed, your delivery timescale will begin from the first day that we reopen.
If placing an order before a planned closure, your delivery timescale will be extended by the number of days we are closed for. While we will try and process as many orders as possible before closing, non-printed orders placed less than 72 hours before a planned closure may not be dispatched before we close, although we will do our best to do so. For orders that need printing as well, this extends to 6 working days. If you are placing an order shortly before a planned closure, please feel free to contact us to confirm if we can dispatch before we close.
We will endeavour to get all orders dispatched as quickly as possible after we reopen following a closure. ‘Priority processing’ orders will be processed in chronological order first. ‘Standard shipping’ orders will then be processed in chronological order, after the Priority ones are complete.
